Here are some photos of my balsa Bing.About two years ago a friend came by my house and asked what it would take to get a stuffed blue marlin I had hanging in my garage and I told him an old surfboard.
Well he told me he had one in his shed that was balsaRight. I went to his house and all I could see under the junk was the fin and when we pulled the board out it was in such bad shape I made a deal for the fin only.The glass was separated, sun bleached and black sand was under it.I took the board home thinking that all I would get was the fin. I pulled the glass back and guess whatIT WAS BALSA. I loaded the marlin into my truck and the deal was made. I had to havethe board reglassedbut we salvaged the original number and sticker.
I have about 10 old boards this is the one I thought I would never have.I hope you like the photos .
Oh yeah one day the guy came by and saw the board and he asked what it was worthall I could say was one blue marlin
